Interim Finance Business Partner (Development)

Interim Finance Business Partner: Are you a confident finance professional looking to take on a business-critical role? Join our Housing Clients Management Accountancy team as an Interim Finance Business Partner to provide vital support during maternity leave. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with flexible remote working and occasional in-office meetings (1-2 times per month).

The Role:

In this role, you'll act as a key link between finance and the business, providing strategic insights, robust reporting, and ensuring value for money across development, rents, and service charge areas. You'll partner closely with the Development Team to inform decision-making and drive financial performance.

What you'll be doing:

1. Lead financial forecasting for new build schemes.
2. Work collaboratively with the Development Team to ensure accuracy, and keep the Treasury Team updated on cash flow impacts.
3. Manage budgets and expenditure for Development, Leaseholders, Service Charges, and contract/void utility payments.
4. Maintain accurate financial records and oversee utility payments on new build properties.
5. Produce monthly management accounts and complete all associated reconciliations.
6. Ensure integrity of the balance sheet, income and expenditure accounts including component accounting and grant contributions.
7. Prepare year-end accounts for designated areas.
8. Collaborate across departments and support audit processes.
