About the Role:

Hays are looking for a proactive and experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join our client's team at a leading Further Education (FE) organisation in the Plymouth area. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £200 - £300 and is set to start in February 2025. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and strategic advice to support our institution's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the company strategy and financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights that help departments make informed decisions.
3. Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with various departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
4. Advisory Role: Offer strategic advice to senior management on financial matters.
5. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Ideally, a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
2. Consideration will be given to non-qualified candidates with substantial experience in education finance.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Proficiency in financial software and tools
