Interim Executive Headteacher – The Role:

An ambitious and growing Multi-Academy Trust in London is seeking an Interim Executive Headteacher to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple schools. This is a pivotal role for an experienced educational leader who can drive improvement, ensure high standards, and support the Trust through a period of transition.

Interim Executive Headteacher – Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strong and decisive leadership across multiple schools, ensuring consistency and excellence in teaching, learning, and outcomes.
2. Support and mentor Headteachers to develop their leadership capacity and maintain high expectations.
3. Oversee school improvement strategies, ensuring that all schools meet or exceed performance targets.
4. Work closely with the CEO and Trust Board to align educational strategy with the Trust’s vision and values.
5. Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, including governors, parents, and external agencies.
6. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, safeguarding policies, and Ofsted frameworks.

Interim Executive Headteacher – You:

1. Proven experience as an Executive Headteacher, CEO, or Headteacher with experience leading multiple schools.
2. A track record of school improvement, with demonstrable success in raising standards.
3. Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
4. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
5. A deep understanding of current education policy, Ofsted frameworks, and multi-academy trust structures.
