Job Description
The Interim Board Secretary / Governance Manager will report into the Director of Governance and be responsible for:
Supporting the organisation and delivery of board and committee meetings.
Preparing and distributing board papers and minutes.
Maintaining high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance for a charity / not for profit.
Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth communication.
Managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Assisting in the implementation of strategic plans.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the governance framework.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Deputy Board Secretary / Governance Manager should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in business, law, or a related field.
Experience in a governance role within the charity / not-for-profit sector.
Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory compliance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
