Position: Interim Communications Lead

Pay rate: £39.98 p/h inside IR35.

Location: Broughton

Role Type: 06 Month contract with Extension

Position: Hybrid

IO Associates seeks a Communication Lead for the Broughton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation and space systems.

The Interim Communications Lead will collaborate closely with the project team, wider communications team, and leadership of the new organization to support all communication-related aspects of the site acquisition in Belfast.

Requirements:

  • Experience in internal, external, and community communications
  • Expertise in M&A communications and change management
  • Strong understanding of the UK and Northern Ireland business environment
  • Skilled in defining and executing communication plans
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on implementation ability
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across functions
  • Excellent writing, content creation, and event management skills
  • Experience with UK media and community relations
  • Proficient in internal communication channels and employee engagement
