Interim Financial Accountant - Charity Sector.

Location: Plymouth (Hybrid Working Available).

Salary: £250 - £350 per day (depending on experience).

Job Type: Full-Time, Interim.

Start Date: ASAP - role likely to last for 6 months with a possibility of an extension.

Role Overview: Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join the client's team on a full-time basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day financial operations
2. Prepare and present financial statements and reports
3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
4. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
5. Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the charity sector
3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
