Job description

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and nearly 1000 reviews, is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Integrative Psychotherapist to work in Roehampton on a full-time basis.

The salary for this permanent Integrative Psychotherapist job is £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Coordinate Care and Administration: Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that patients receive the necessary treatment and that funding and administrative processes are properly in place.
  • Manage a Caseload: Oversee a caseload of patients, providing both individual and group therapy as needed to support their treatment and recovery.
  • Support Treatment Planning: Actively participate in key work, assisting patients in developing and implementing their onward treatment plans.
  • Liaise with Consultant Psychiatrists: Maintain regular communication with patients' Consultant Psychiatrists, ensuring they are informed of any updates or changes in the patients' treatment and care plans.
  • Collaborate on Referrals: Work closely with the Therapy Lead and Therapy Business Manager to effectively communicate upcoming admission points to referrers and ensure seamless transitions for new patients.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure comprehensive and precise documentation, including risk assessments, clinical notes, and communication with medical and psychiatric teams, to support effective patient care.
  • Support Funding Processes: Assist Therapy Administration and patients in securing the correct funding for treatment, seeking help from the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) as necessary.
  • Contribute to Service Development: Participate in local service development and improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the quality and efficiency of the therapy services provided.
  • Provide Team Support: Be ready to support the wider therapy team during periods of leave or sickness, ensuring continuity of care and service delivery.

Requirements of the Integrative Psychotherapist:

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Full membership with BACP, UKCP, or NCPS.

Desirable:

  • Accreditation with a recognised therapeutic body.
  • Certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practice.

Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in delivering both group and individual therapy.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide evidence-based treatment.
  • Confidence in using multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of a diverse and changing patient population.

Desirable:

  • Experience in key working or case management of patient care.

  • Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical values and attitudes, with a strong commitment to equality and diversity in practice.
