Our leading Insurance client is looking for an experienced Insurance Technician to join their expanding team working on a fully remote basis. Our client is offering a basic salary of £50,000-£70,000 plus bonus and a clear path to progress your career within their International business - this salary can also be negotiable depending on experience.

As an Insurance Technician, you will be an integral part of a specific Operating Entity, providing crucial technical and administrative support to broking teams within niche Business Units. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our reinsurance processes, enabling brokers to focus on client relationships and strategic objectives.

You will join a dedicated team of Technicians, each specializing in particular lines of insurance, allowing you to develop deep expertise in your area of focus. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparation and management of documentation, data entry, and compliance with company and group policies, ensuring that all tasks are implemented with precision and in a timely manner.
  2. Collaborate with senior team members to set and prioritise key objectives, optimally leading workload to ensure both personal and team goals are met.
  3. Consistently meet agreed performance targets and deadlines.
  4. Lead assigned projects and supply to other team projects as the need arises, ensuring successful completion.
  5. Provide accurate and timely management information to the Team Leader as needed.
  6. Assist in the preparation of detailed client and broking documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  7. Process slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements efficiently, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  8. Perform technical duties, including data entry, credit control, and follow-up on subjectivities, with precision.
  9. Stay informed of regulatory and legal changes that impact the role, ensuring compliance.
  10. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on the company's systems at all times.
  11. Respond promptly and appropriately to urgent issues as they arise, providing effective solutions.
  12. Interpret and implement instructions and issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  13. Build and maintain positive relationships with Business Units, encouraging teamwork.
  14. Handle incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties, ensuring a professional and timely response.
  15. Handle client renewals and mid-term adjustments as required, delivering high-quality service.
