Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for self-motivated Insurance Advisors to join a successful, friendly and lively team for a recognised leading global insurance company. This is a perfect opportunity to develop a career within insurance as insurance experience is not essential.

There is no cold calling involved in the role as all leads are warm and pre-generated or current customer renewals.

Duties of Insurance Advisor:
  1. Making outbound telephone calls to customers - handling quotes, renewals, referrals and contacting lapsed customers with a view to converting these into business
  2. Handling inbound calls from new and existing customers
  3. Cross selling complementary insurance products
  4. Quoting, binding, renewing and taking payment for policies
  5. Answering customer questions over the telephone, live chat and email
  6. Following-up outstanding renewals
  7. Processing online quote referrals as within underwriting authority (new business and renewal)
  8. Handling mid-term adjustments and issuing renewal invitations
  9. Handling administrative tasks to align with customer requirements
