Job Role: Insurance Manager

Location: New Milton

Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday

As an Insurance Manager, you will be contributing to a well-respected and trusted insurance broker with a friendly and dedicated team that provides cover for properties, large and small.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing customer-centric insurance products for the client’s clients
• Ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with FCA requirements
• Day-to-day operational management of a team of Account Executives
• Coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring of your direct reports to ensure customer-centric service delivery
• Liaising with clients, brokers, and insurers in the administration of contracts of insurance
• Preparing and issuing new business & renewal terms
• Ownership and handling of consumer and commercial property claims in accordance with FCA requirements and authority levels
• Ensuring stakeholders are regularly engaged and updated with claims information
• Dealing with client queries via multiple channels – e.g. email, telephone, post – in a timely and professional manner
• Providing a superior service to all internal and external customers
• Supporting the strategic and operational goals of the company

Qualifications:

• Preferably educated to A ‘Level standard, but as a minimum 5 ‘C’ grade or above GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths

Experience:

• Significant experience of working within a property insurance operation either for an insurance company or broker
• Extensive knowledge of property insurance (commercial and consumer)
• Extensive customer service experience
• Experience in the use of Microsoft applications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comprehensive knowledge of FCA obligations relevant to insurance provision
• People management experience
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure and to tight timelines
