At Laing O'Rourke we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Insurance Manager to manage the insurance requirements for specific projects within our international engineering and construction business. Reporting directly to the Group Insurance Manager, this role offers the exciting opportunity to work alongside internal teams, external insurers, and legal advisors to assess risk exposures and secure appropriate insurance coverage. This position will ensure compliance with business minimum standards and contractual requirements while contributing to the smooth execution of our projects.
The role presents an opportunity for the individual to gain broad experience of the insurance exposures of a multi-national construction business and for the mix of responsibilities to be adapted to suit the individual's skills, experience and qualities.
The candidate should be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities. Capable of working unsupervised and possess the ability to interface with others who do not have knowledge or experience of insurance.
