The role

We’re now looking for a motivated & driven Insurance Consultant based from our Chippenham or Swindon office, to join the Jensten Group. Working in our New Business team (Personal Lines), the main aim of the role is to drive growth with new business, maximising opportunities with existing customers as well as following up on leads & referrals. This is an exciting time to join our business and the successful candidate can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Working within the New Business team with the aim of maximising sales.
  • Responsible for delivering great customer service and administering insurance policies.
  • Responsible for hitting and exceeding realistic targets.
  • Strong customer service skills, communicating clearly and building relationships.
  • Working in a fast paced and target driven environment.
  • Ensure that all work is FCA compliant and provide the highest of Customer Service to our potential and existing clients.

About you

As one of our Insurance Consultants, you’ll be given full training & support and the opportunity to gain relevant qualifications such as Cert CII to become a qualified Insurance professional. There will be a requirement to work every other Saturday- but only half a day (and you’ll get this time back during the week), and there’s also the chance to earn good commissions- which is uncapped! You will also be or have:

  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience/able to generate new business.
  • Excellent telephone manner with a natural sales flair.
  • Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales.
  • Worked in a similar role previously (telephone and face-to-face sales experience).
  • Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin.
  • Insurance background in Personal Lines/Commercial (ideally).
