Our client is a leading London (City) based, wholesale insurance brokerage which specialises in casualty risk management. Their focus is on providing tailored insurance solutions to their clients in the Australian and Canadian markets. With expertise in placing risks within Lloyd's and a commitment to customer service, they strive to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional results.

They are looking to recruit an experienced insurance professional to take responsibility for their Australian book of wholesale Casualty business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare insurance slips and endorsements for various Casualty risks emanating from Australia
• Place risks effectively within Lloyd's, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of Australian casualty risks and assist the Canadian team when required
• Collaborate with underwriters and clients to assess risk and provide consultative support.
• Monitor and analyse market trends to recommend appropriate coverage options.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Casualty broker or in a similar role within the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of Lloyd's of London and the Australian Casualty insurance market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
• Relevant industry qualifications or certifications are preferred.
