Title: Consultant/ Architect - Insurance

Location: London/Client Site

Engagement: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £105,000 + up to 40% Bonus

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant / Architect with deep expertise in the insurance domain to lead digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance processes, systems, and platforms, paired with the technical expertise to design and deliver innovative, scalable solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of insurance technology, leveraging your domain knowledge and technical acumen to modernise processes, enhance platform capabilities, and deliver business-critical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead architectural strategy and design for transformation programs within the insurance sector.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to modernise core insurance processes and platforms.
3. Develop innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly with leading insurance packages and systems.
4. Implement scalable, cloud-enabled architectures to drive efficiency and agility.
5. Oversee development efforts to ensure alignment with architectural blueprints.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver secure solutions.
7. Optimise database management and platform performance.

Required Expertise:

1. Significant experience in the insurance sector, with a focus on processes, systems, and platforms.
2. Strong understanding of leading insurance packages and technologies (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar).
3. Proven track record of delivering digital transformation within the insurance domain.
4. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architectural patterns.
5. Experience with programming and development methodologies.
6. Deep understanding of security and compliance in the insurance industry.
7. Advanced database management expertise, including relational and NoSQL databases.
