Insurance Administrator

Salary – £24,500 - £30,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location – Doncaster, DN4 5NU

As an Insurance Administrator at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in supporting our insurance department through effective claims administration and clear communication with internal teams, insurance companies, and solicitors. You’ll ensure accurate record-keeping and process insurance-related queries in a timely and efficient manner.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?

  1. Providing administrative support for claims, recoveries, payments, and Bordereaux requests
  2. Assisting with the creation and maintenance of claim files and internal claims systems
  3. Handling and attaching email workflows and scanned posts to the correct records
  4. Liaising with sites, insurers, brokers, and finance teams
  5. Supporting the update of the insurance page on Environet
  6. Managing communications and documentation for liability, property, and motor claims
  7. Ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and data entry for all claims handled
  8. Supporting ad hoc insurance administrative tasks as required

What are we looking for?

  1. Previous administration experience, ideally within an insurance environment
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills
  3. A calm, structured, and organised approach, with excellent time management
  4. Adaptability and flexibility in a busy work environment
  5. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  6. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  7. The ability to manage confidential information and work independently
