Overview

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Program Development & Evaluation Division (PD&ED).

Program Development & Evaluation Division is responsible for providing and developing performance-based world-class learning solutions that sustain our evolving Saudi workforce.

As an Instructional Designer, your primary role is to conduct learning needs assessment, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Perform research and data analysis on training gaps, needs, and programs effectiveness.
  • Research on instructional design methodologies, trends, tools, and training technologies.
  • Design and develop curriculum and instructional material using existing and utilizing emerging technologies such as: Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Design and develop assessments and other evaluation instruments on structured tests, quizzes, interviews, and surveys for training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts, proponents, vendors, and teaching and technical staff to pilot, implement, and evaluate curricula and delivery methodologies in training centers.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for training delivery staff to ensure that all learning and assessment material is used effectively.
  • Plan, monitor, and report on the development and execution of curriculum development, evaluation, training technology selection, and deployment projects.
  • Conduct site visits to training centers to provide feedback and support, and submit site visit reports.
  • Develop reports and proposals related to the future of training and evaluation programs.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will hold a:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a Technical/Trade/Vocational discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of work experience, including 5 years in Instructional Design, Teaching, or Vocational Training.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in instructional design, including the development of classroom-based learning, e-learning, m-learning and blended learning solutions for a technical workforce.
