The Instructional Designer I (Temporary) position provides expertise to faculty, staff, and subject matter experts in course design and creation, incorporating best practices in pedagogy, methodology, use of digital content, and course outcomes.
This position will be dedicated to microcredential development divided between three projects:
Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be an option subject to Clarkson University rules, regulations, and policies.
Your primary residence must be in one of the following states to work remotely:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Education:
Minimal Qualifications: A master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related discipline, Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Certification.
Preferred Qualification: A PhD or other terminal degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or related field.
Experience:
Minimal Experience: At least three years of progressive, related experience in a higher education environment, experience developing microcredentials for both higher education audiences and the general public.
Preferred Experience: Experience developing microcredentials for the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
