About the Role:

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art learning solutions that cater to a diverse audience, including sales and technical teams. Your primary focus will be on creating immersive and interactive training content that simplifies complex technical information and enhances the learning experience.

Responsibilities

Innovate and Design: Use your expertise in instructional design to create engaging, effective learning solutions that transform complex technical content into easily digestible training materials.

  • Design and develop a range of high-quality learning experiences, including e-learning modules, video content, animations, games, virtual instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning modalities.
  • Leverage gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement and retention.

Research and Validate: Conduct thorough research to identify and validate training requirements.

  • Perform analysis of engineering specifications, technical and marketing documentation, and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights.
  • Suggest appropriate training solutions tailored to the needs of the audience.

Develop and Deliver: Define clear and measurable learning objectives, create realistic scenarios, and build interactive simulations.

  • Write engaging audio scripts, develop knowledge checks, and design comprehensive end-of-course assessments.
  • Create detailed design documents (DDD) and prototypes to guide the development process.

Collaborate and Engage: Work as an integral part of a collaborative team, interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Engage with SMEs, including Product Management, Market Development, and Product Marketing teams, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.

Manage Learning Content: Collaborate with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to upload, test, and maintain training content.

  • Ensure all content is current, accurate, and accessible to learners.

Communication and Feedback: Act as a liaison between the instructional design team and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication.

  • Collect and analyse feedback from learners and stakeholders to continually improve training materials.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Audio/Visual Technology or a related field is required
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in learning design and development. Proven expertise in designing and developing customized technical training programs that address customer needs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Captivate, and Camtasia Studio. Experience with gamification and creating content with translations in mind is essential. Familiarity with incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into training strategy, a plus.
  • Instructional Models: Demonstrated experience with ADDIE or other instructional design models in developing product training programs for both sales and technical audiences.
  • Modern Techniques: Knowledge of current techniques and procedures used in instructional program design, development, and evaluation. Familiarity with eLearning, mobile learning, virtual instructor-led training, and webinars.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with audio products and related technologies is a plus. Experience in developing product training for technologies such as RF, networking, and wireless networks is beneficial.
