Marshall Fleet Solutions (MFS) are currently seeking a number of Installation and Assembly fitters to install refrigeration equipment into vehicles.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to the Installation Co-Ordinator/s. Ensuring MFS deliver the highest level of quality installations on Vehicle Powered / Truck & Trailer refrigeration products. A key function for this role will be to ensure that we fulfil our customer’s installation expectations.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To work on a variety of installations (Thermoking and Frigoblock) in the workshop facility and on customer sites and in turn adhering to Internal Health and Safety policies and safe working practices. To liaise with the co-ordinator/s / Admin ensuring all installation information is fully handed over for the job creations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least 3 grade C’s or above.
Experience:
• Good working knowledge of the installation process.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in, and detailed knowledge of vehicle/self powered fridge installation or similar area.
• Proven track record of delivering quality.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• The ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• To be able to plan and priorities your own work and other people’s.
• IT literate (Microsoft office).
• Numerate, literate, methodical, systematic.
ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS
Must hold a valid full UK driving license.
Have flexibility to be able to work away from home on a regular basis.
