Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Insolvency Solicitor to join a thriving team in Leeds City Centre where you will be exposed to every aspect of the role from day one. You would be introduced to clients from day one and be given every opportunity to attend meetings, events etc as well as being given the full range of interesting work.

The Leeds team is part of a larger Northern team, offering the benefit of being part of something that is really close knit but has much wider support and pulling power with the clients. The work is both local and national, in fact they bring a lot of really interesting and significant cases out of the London market, but haven't forgotten their local presence offering what could well be the perfect blend.

Whilst the Partner is open minded about what level they recruit at, looking from NQ upwards, and they have a great reputation for training and development, they are very happy to speak with more senior lawyers looking to join a successful team which is set for growth. They recognise that there are not many insolvency lawyers around in Yorkshire so are happy to speak to people looking to relocate, and to speak to junior lawyers who are interested in this interesting sector and are looking to retrain and have some transferrable technical skills and the right approach.

As a dedicated Insolvency team, they handle all aspects of the work, supported particularly by solicitors from within their high quality corporate and property teams. The firm and team are big enough to attract and retain both quality clients and lawyers but still of a size where you can be recognised as having an impact.
