The Role: Insight & Reporting Executive - 6 month FTC

The Insight & Reporting Executive will play a key role in creating customer insight from our Voice of Customer (VoC) infrastructure, internal data as well as primary research to understand the outcomes of our customers and provide insight into the business. The Executive will ensure the reporting and insight is brought into the correct senior stakeholder forums at all levels of the business up to and including PLC board. The successful candidate will need to be able to effectively understand multiple sources of data and reports to bring these together to form insight and reporting and share with stakeholders. Working across with the customer insight team, the Executive will manage both quantitative and qualitative primary research projects and contribute to the Voice of Customer program. The role requires presenting clear and well-articulated customer insight and intelligence that will be shared at a senior level and acted upon through ongoing improvements to customer journeys, experiences, communications and propositions.

  • Deliver the regular reporting against our customer outcomes and KPI’s across the M&G Life Business.
  • Utilise the Customer outcome KPI infrastructure to develop narrative, uncover insights and highlight areas for deep dives.
  • Work with the customer experience & journey management team and the wider business to ensure reporting is compelling, insightful, relevant, actionable and ensure these are incorporated in customer Journey, communications and product design.
  • Help to embed a customer-centric culture across the business and champion the customer so we continuously put them at the heart of our activities.
  • Support in designing and building new measurement KPI’s and insight within the customer outcome measurement.

This role will require some travel to Reading for Team Meetings.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Design impactful reporting based on multiple data sources.
  • Report and analyse key KPI metrics from all areas of the business to ensure customers to help build executive narrative.
  • Assist with the oversight of the insight and metric infrastructure to ensure all customer outcome data is available and accurate.
  • Work closely with the Governance Manager to ensure all reporting requirements are delivered in alignment with Governance Calendar.
  • Undertake analysis and deep dives utilising the data and working with teams around the business to deliver increased understanding.
  • Work with the Customer Experience and Journey Management team and the wider business to incorporate any customer insight into the reporting.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience creating impactful reporting design.
  • Delivering reporting to senior of the team to create narrative and influence the business.
  • Experience with utilising multiple data sources to create a combined understanding.
  • Experience working in customer experience within the Financial Industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge / working experience of data investigation and reporting including using tools such as Power BI and Qualtrics.
  • Data analysis including requirements, data investigation, data mapping and validation.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of driving initiatives forward and successfully delivering against demanding targets within a rapidly changing environment.
