Job description

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Sales Representative for our client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored freight solutions.

This role requires excellent communication skills, telesales and negotiation skills as well as an understanding of air and ocean freight products and processes, specifically imports and exports.

Duties
  1. Engage with prospective clients through telemarketing and follow-up calls to generate new business opportunities.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  3. Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our products and services.
  4. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets and improving overall performance.
  6. Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in sales or telemarketing, specifically B2B.
  2. Proficiency in English is essential.
  3. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
  4. Familiarity with CRM software.
  5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a passion for achieving sales targets.
  7. Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight, imports and exports is essential.
