Job description

We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans.

Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.

  2. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or 8.30pm-5.30pm, office based

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maximises the potential of new and existing clients, principally through outbound verbal engagement.
  2. Builds strong personal relationships with new and existing clients
  3. Negotiates with clients and suppliers
  4. Submits quotes and converts
  5. Talking clients through the administrative requirements of shipping post Brexit
  6. Attends and participates in Sales meetings
  7. Attends meetings via Zoom or face to face if circumstances permit with key accounts

  1. Customer service or operations experience
  2. Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers
  3. A Friendly telephone manner.
  4. An energetic, enthusiastic personality.
  5. Strong negotiating skills.
  6. Good attention to detail.
  7. A positive attitude and desire to succeed.
