An established industry player is seeking a dedicated consultant psychiatrist to enhance their inpatient multidisciplinary team. The Trust is seeking a fulltime consultant psychiatrist to join our inpatient multidisciplinary team on Ruby ward, a 17-bedded female acute ward in Aylesbury. The vacancy has arisen as the result of a colleague leaving the organisation.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their ability to adapt to the changing circumstances of modern mental healthcare provision and demonstrate an interest in working with people with severe mental illness and complex emotional needs. We welcome applications from highly motivated colleagues to work collaboratively with our team managers, and to contribute to the leadership and clinical expertise of our highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary teams.
There are extensive opportunities for teaching and training of medical students, postgraduate doctors, members of the multidisciplinary team and other service providers, and for appraising and mentoring consultant colleagues.
Applicants for the above vacancies must be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and on the Specialist Register or be within six months of attaining their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or an equivalent approved indicator of training.
