Job Title: Innovation Project Manager

Location: Chiswick, UK

About the role

Are you energised by big ideas and bold possibilities? Join us as an Innovation Project Manager and play a key role in shaping the future at BSI.

Based out of our Chiswick office on a hybrid basis, this role sits at the heart of our Group Innovation team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and is passionate about turning great ideas into high-value, real-world solutions.

You’ll lead some of our most complex innovation projects—partnering closely with divisions and group functions—while also championing best practice project management across our innovation pipeline. This role blends creativity with rigour, requiring both an experimental mindset and strong project leadership to explore market opportunities, test feasibility, and align with business and customer needs.

If you're excited by future-focused innovation and want to help shape what’s next for BSI, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of key innovation projects—from scoping to execution—ensuring clear plans, milestones, and resource alignment.
  • Inspire and guide cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Promote and embed project management tools, frameworks, and best practices across the Innovation team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align innovation initiatives with strategy, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Champion an experimental mindset—supporting teams to test, learn, and adapt quickly.
  • Support data-driven decision making through effective tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A strong track record in complex project management.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and driving innovation.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and clear communication.
  • A structured, solutions-focused approach to delivery.
  • Emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for making ideas happen and leading by example.

BSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, ongoing training and development with the inclusion of 27-days annual leave, paid sick leave, bank holidays, health insurance, life insurance, pension plan with company contribution, car allowance (dependent on role), income protection, paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, paid parental leave, adoption leave, compassionate leave, paid bereavement leave, learning and development opportunities, and a wide range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle.
