Job Title: Infrastructure & Utilities Associate/ Vice President

Location: London

Origination & Advisory combines Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory along with Capital Markets to deliver the most appropriate products to both the C-Suite and Treasurer. Clients include major corporates, financial institutions, financial sponsors, governments, and sovereigns around the world. Our industry expertise covers Consumer and Retail Services, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Industrials, Infrastructure & Utilities, Technology, Media & Telecom and Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure.

You will be coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of Infrastructure & Utilities (I&U) transactions with European clients.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supporting wider teams in the I&U coverage effort of key European accounts.
  • Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis, and financial modelling.
  • In both origination and execution projects, taking responsibility to communicate with clients, other advisers, and senior investment bankers.
  • Helping to develop and mentor staff in the team.

Your skills and experience:

  • Relevant I&U Corporate Finance experience, most importantly in advisory but with knowledge of capital market products.
  • Proven execution skills, complex deal understanding, and structuring capabilities in Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem-solving abilities, high proactivity levels, and drive.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills - the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Able to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
