Job description

I'm excited to be partnering exclusively with a leading global brand to recruit an Infrastructure Manager who will play a crucial role in shaping IT operations across multiple global sites. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, providing support for network security, system availability, and IT strategy development.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple global locations.
  2. Serve as the technical lead, identifying and implementing emerging technologies to drive business efficiency and innovation.
  3. Oversee network security, system updates, and data protection, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues at all levels.
  5. Work closely with global IT teams to standardise processes, enhance system efficiency, and implement industry best practices.
  6. Assist in IT budget management, vendor relationships, and procurement of IT equipment and services.
  7. Lead and mentor junior IT staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  8. Maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  9. Monitor system performance, identify risks, and propose solutions for optimisation and improvement.
  10. Strengthen cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with best practices and leading responses to security incidents.
About You
  1. 5+ years of experience in IT operations.
  2. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  3. Experience with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and IT service management (ITSM) methodologies.
  4. Professional certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
  5. Proficiency in ITIL frameworks and experience with cybersecurity frameworks (eg. ISO 27001).
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced global environment.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  8. Flexibility to travel within the UK and Europe, with the ability to provide out-of-hours support when necessary.
