Job Description

I am working with a leading technology company in the Northeast who are on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join the global Engineering division. The successful applicant will have overall responsibility and accountability for the system administration team and infrastructure operations. They will also act as the technical point of escalation within the team, and create work plans and optimization initiatives. This role will work closely with Heads of Development and Development teams Globally.

Responsibilities

1. Overall responsibility for the system administration team and infrastructure operations.
2. Act as the technical point of escalation within the team.
3. Create work plans and optimization initiatives.
4. Collaborate closely with Heads of Development and Development teams globally.

Qualifications

The role requires someone with a deep understanding of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi and cellular networks (LTE, HSPA+, WCDMA, GSM), Linux platforms, and infrastructure management. The individual should possess:

1. 2+ years of experience in a related field.
2. Knowledge of server and storage infrastructure products.
3. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
4. Understanding of networking principles.

Flexibility and the ability to travel to work on projects worldwide when needed are essential.
