Infrastructure Engineer
SC Cleared
12 Month Contract
Hybrid – multiple sites available
£600 - £650 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
Our client are urgently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer with strong specialism in Jira/Confluence to join them on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of Jira and Confluence projects, spaces, and users to a new Atlassian cloud installation
- Design, implement, and enhance bespoke Jira projects across various business units
- Collaborate with end users to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Integrate Jira with ServiceNow to streamline incident management
- Co-design Jira workflows and schemes in partnership with delivery leaders
- Administer and optimise Jira/Confluence environments, including plugins and performance tuning
- Support ongoing enhancements and manage requests for new users, projects, and spaces
Skills/Experience Required:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence administration
- Proven experience migrating Atlassian environments, including projects and users
- Solid understanding of Atlassian plugins (e.g. ScriptRunner)
- Experience managing Jira in complex infrastructure environments (software, IaaS, support functions)
- Able to design admin functions to handle ongoing user and configuration requests
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Atlassian Expert/certifications
Desirable:
- Previously worked in an agile environment
- Experience of creating and managing infrastructure solutions in AWS
