Infrastructure Engineer (DV Security Clearance)

Position Description:

Secure Innovation is part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for the government agencies' most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage. We are currently looking for an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our team – being able to think outside of the box to overcome technical challenges is essential!

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Windows Infrastructure Management:
   Maintain, monitor, and manage Windows desktop and server platforms. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all Windows servers and associated applications. Implement security measures and perform regular updates to safeguard the infrastructure.
2. Azure and Office Management:
   Manage and maintain Azure cloud services and Office applications. Implement and monitor Azure-based solutions for optimal performance and security. Ensure the seamless integration of Office applications with existing infrastructure.
3. DNS Management:
   Oversee and manage DNS configurations and operations. Ensure DNS services are reliable, secure, and performant. Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues promptly.
4. Group Policy Management:
   Develop, implement, and maintain Group Policies to manage user and computer environments. Ensure Group Policies are aligned with organisational policies and security standards. Regularly review and update Group Policies to reflect changes in the infrastructure and security requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Certification in Windows Server Administration.
2. Strong understanding of networking and storage technologies.
3. Knowledge of Azure and Office management.
4. You will hold active HMG HLC Clearance and must be solely UK National.
