Description
Ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the company's IT Infrastructure.
Identifying, documenting, and solving technical issues related to network and server infrastructure.
Evaluating and modifying system performance.
Assessing and upgrading existing technologies to better serve the organisation.
Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS (especially for website hosting)
VMware vSphere configuration
Management and configuration of Linux servers (especially Debian-based)
Veeam Backup solutions
CDN management (e.g. Cloudflare)
Patch Management Software
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually evolving working environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and delivery focused.
Profile
Responsibilities
Monitoring, maintaining, and extending our existing multi-site hybrid VMware and Azure infrastructure.
Deploying and configuring Windows and Linux virtual machines.
Supporting and configuring user endpoints and office infrastructure.
Supporting and configuring backup operations.
Fulfilling firewall change requests.
Maintaining the security of our environments.
Managing client solutions on public cloud infrastructure.
Occasional out-of-hours maintenance and support.
