Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer (Permanent) - Nottingham

Are you an ambitious Infrastructure Engineer looking to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive environment? Our client, a forward-thinking consultancy, is seeking a talented engineer to join their growing Infrastructure team in Nottingham.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, ranging from small residential developments to large-scale multi-thousand-unit schemes, for major residential developers and commercial clients.

You will play a key role in delivering projects across all stages, from feasibility through to planning, detailed design, and construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your technical expertise and broaden your experience while working alongside a team of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with project management and the design of schemes across a range of clients.
  2. Develop drainage strategies, levels strategies, and earthwork appraisals.
  3. Prepare planning documents such as Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Technical Notes, and Utilities Statements.
  4. Support detailed design work and preparation of construction drawings.
  5. Assist in securing technical approvals for S104, S38, S278 agreements.
  6. Provide input into due diligence reviews to support land acquisitions.
  7. Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project completion.
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer with the following:

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) and a desire to work towards professional accreditation.
  2. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  3. Technical knowledge of relevant documents such as SSG, Building Regulations, DMRB, and Ciria C753.
  4. Proficiency in MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow and AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Site3D would be a plus.
  5. Understanding of the pre-planning and planning stages, along with some experience in detailed design and technical approvals (S104, S38, S278).
  6. A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
