Infrastructure Engineer – Microsoft 365 Migration Specialist - Contract Role - Fully Remote

About the Role: Our Client is currently supporting 'An Advertising Services' organization during a merger with another company. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to facilitate the smooth integration of Microsoft 365 platforms as part of this process. The Infrastructure Engineer will emphasize planning, executing, and optimizing migrations across Teams, SharePoint, mailboxes, and emails, with a strong focus on the technical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement migration plans for Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring a smooth transition for Teams, SharePoint, email, and mailbox systems.
• Provide consultancy on Microsoft 365 integration and post-merger IT optimization strategies.
• Join and actively contribute to hypercare calls to address critical issues during the migration process.
• Facilitate meetings to review past notes, current challenges, and future migration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the continuity of operations, minimizing disruption during the migration phase.

Required Skills & Experience from an Infrastructure Engineer:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale migration projects, especially involving cross-company integrations.
• Strong consultancy skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations while maintaining hands-on technical involvement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to navigate complex environments and diverse teams.
