Infrastructure Architect - Permanent - DV Clearance

Hiring for an Infrastructure Architect to be based in Basingstoke. This is a Permanent role, offering a salary of £70K - £80K + Bonus + £6K Car Allowance. This role requires DV Clearance, so please apply if you hold active Clearance or would be eligible.

Responsibilities:

1. Own the design and delivery of technical infrastructure proposals.
2. Ensure architectural solutions are cohesive, compliant, and adaptable to change.
3. Support delivery across the lifecycle - from requirements to service transition.
4. Collaborate within a skilled Agile team, embracing cross-training and shared challenges.
5. Communicate technical concepts and infrastructure visions to senior customer executives.
6. Design and implement secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
7. Manage third-party contributions and change requests without compromising the architectural integrity.
8. Contribute to the successful deployment of solutions and support service transition phases.

Skills and Experience required:

1. Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to influence and advise at senior executive levels.
2. Proven track record in the design and implementation of secure, large-scale, resilient infrastructures.
3. Experience defining infrastructure requirements directly with customers.
4. Successful delivery of production-grade solutions, with smooth transitions into operational support.
5. Solid understanding of security standards and how to architect compliant infrastructure.
6. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies in a technical environment.
7. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows enterprise administration, including:
1. GPO, Registry, Filesystem configuration
2. PowerShell cmdlets and WMI scripting
3. Patch management and Windows Installer deployments
