The Role:

My client is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the specification, delivery, and assurance of technology infrastructure across our organisation.

This Infrastructure Architect role is a fantastic opportunity to shape and enhance our IT systems, working on a hybrid basis with occasional travel to their Grantham office (once or twice a month).

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will:

• Oversee data centres, network services, telephony, workstation management, servers, storage, and associated software.
• Ensure availability, integrity, and security of IT infrastructure in collaboration with the Co-Supply Partner.
• Work closely with teams across Digital Enablement to manage technological deployments and infrastructure changes.
• Lead a team in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing technology infrastructure solutions.
• Develop the team’s capabilities, ensuring infrastructure and security roles align with ongoing digital transformation.
• Support project work that may require out-of-hours availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical authority on all IT infrastructure matters.
• Drive cloud-first strategies and oversee migration to modern technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
• Work alongside stakeholders and external partners to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing technical team.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and innovations to improve IT infrastructure.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in technology infrastructure roles.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL, Citrix, DevOps, Email Authentication, and AWS.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience designing and implementing complex IT projects and cloud-based solutions.
• Passion for digital transformation and the ability to drive change at scale.
