Industrial Cleaning Operative
Location – Mallusk, Newtownabbey, BT36 4EW
Salary – £25,000 per annum
Hours – 35 hours per week

Shifts
July to November: Monday to Thursday 07:00–14:30, Friday 12:00–19:30, off Saturday and Sunday
December to June: Monday to Thursday 22:15–07:30, off Friday, Saturday and Sunday

As an Industrial Cleaning Operative at Sodexo in Mallusk, Newtownabbey, you’ll be a reliable, hands-on member of the team who plays a vital role in maintaining hygiene and safety across the site. Your work helps ensure we meet high operational standards, supporting a safe and clean environment for all.

What you’ll do:

1. Perform a range of industrial cleaning tasks, including floor and equipment cleaning
2. Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
3. Follow strict hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
4. Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists and records
5. Work as part of a team to ensure site standards are consistently met

What you bring:

1. Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning (preferred)
2. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
3. A strong awareness of health and safety procedures
4. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
5. High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
