Our highly regarded Primary school in Crawley is looking for a dedicated and bubbly Individual Needs Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who needs additional support.

An Individual Needs Assistant will be responsible for facilitating and providing tailored support to a student, helping them understand and navigate their studies, encouraging them to focus, building resilience, and developing coping strategies. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive and safe environment for the pupil.

This is a pivotal role that will assist with the student's development of social skills, emotional regulation, and academic engagement through the use of interventions, all in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities of an Individual Needs Assistant:

• Behaviour and pastoral support.
• Take an active role in forward planning with therapists.
• Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students.
• Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students.
• Ensure safeguarding of students, in line with procedures.
