About the role

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors within Facilities to join our End Point Assessment team. As an IEPA, you’ll play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessments. This is therefore a great opportunity to use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others.

Added to this, you’ll be working at the forefront of End Point Assessment, as NCFE works with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges, and Employment Providers to drive valuable partnerships across the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Delivering EPA in line with the Facilities Management Standards
  • Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
  • Communicating with apprentices, ITPs, and employers on EPA and grading

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • A recognised Assessor qualification (or the commitment to work towards)
  • Obtain a Level 3, Level 4 and/or Level 5 Facilities Management qualification, e.g. BIFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management
  • Current sector occupational competence at managerial level, at least 3 years within the facilities sector
  • Experience in a wide range of industry sub-sectors, for example, maintenance, front of-house logistics, post-room services and portering in residential developments and commercial properties, hospitals, schools or retail centres and industrial locations
  • Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
  • The flexibility to travel for face-to-face assessments when required
  • Functional Maths and English at Level 2 or GCSEs Grades C and above
  • Excellent IT skills using platforms such as Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
