My Building Materials Client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Person / Team Lead to oversee and lead a small sales team.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to drive team performance, spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensure the smooth operation of the department. This role requires a proactive individual who is highly organised and can bring positive energy to the team while managing both inbound queries and team development.


Experience:

  1. Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  2. Previous managerial or team leadership experience is essential.
  3. Experience with upselling and cross-selling within a sales environment.

Key Skills:

  1. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  3. Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  4. Proactive with a results-driven mindset.
  5. Ability to identify and seize new business opportunities.
  6. Ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  7. Skilled in using CRM tools and sales reporting software.

Due to the location of site you must be able to drive and own a vehicle. Industry experience isn't essential!
