We’re looking for an Inbound Marketing Specialist who shares our results-driven mindset. In this role, you’ll play a key part in executing content, email and social media campaigns, supporting paid ad initiatives, and ensuring that our clients’ digital presence drives meaningful business outcomes. Responsibilities
All marketing accounts have a fixed set of deliverables, which are usually required to be fulfilled on a monthly or quarterly basis. As an Inbound Marketing Specialist you will be directly involved in all areas of the marketing function, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Email and social media marketing
You will be responsible for delivering all inbound email and social media marketing campaigns. Regular marketing emails to a database of contacts are crucial for nurturing leads and boosting conversion rates. Equally, consistent social media posting will help expand clients’ follower base, increasing the number of potential new leads who may convert through these posts. Key responsibilities include:
- Create compelling and engaging copy for emails and social media posts, translating complex technical topics into clear and captivating content that resonates with the target audience.
- Lead the creation, scheduling, and management of inbound email campaigns, ensuring they align with broader marketing strategies.
- Develop, schedule, and manage social media campaigns across various platforms, consistently delivering content that supports the brand’s messaging.
- Take ownership of the email and social media content calendar, keeping it updated with well-planned campaigns that reflect strategic marketing goals.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using insights to continuously improve and refine email and social media strategies.
Website management
You will assist in keeping client websites current by handling updates and content entry. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client requests for website updates, ensuring content is entered accurately and promptly.
- Updating website content, including text, images, and other media, to reflect the latest client information and campaigns.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that all website changes are aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Experience using Wordpress and Yoast.
Paid ad management
You will play a key role in supporting the creation and delivery of paid ad campaigns. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to support the smooth execution of paid ad campaigns.
- Assisting in the creation of engaging ad copy that aligns with campaign goals.
- Working with the design team to develop compelling creatives that enhance the effectiveness of campaigns.
Client communication
You will play a crucial role in supporting client communication. Key responsibilities include:
- Attending client calls and taking detailed notes to ensure accurate follow-up on action items.
- Being available to assist with ad hoc client requests, providing timely and efficient support.
- Monitoring client requests and messages, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team member for a prompt response.
Reporting
The Campaign Manager will work with the team to deliver monthly reports for all marketing accounts. These are vital for guiding areas of improvement for the future, as well as demonstrating Forge’s continual focus on results and activity to clients.
Hubspot
As an Inbound Marketing Specialist, you'll be familiar with Hubspot. At Forge, we manage everything through our clients Hubspot Portals, it's the centre of what we deliver. Expertise in the Hubspot portal is vital to your success in this role.
Key Skills & Experience
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, particularly in managing email and social media campaigns.
- Proven experience in writing compelling copy for marketing campaigns, particularly for technical industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Hubspot certification and experience is preferred.
Skills
- Copywriting: Strong ability to create engaging and persuasive copy for email and social media campaigns, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Campaign Management: Experience in planning, scheduling, and managing email and social media content calendars, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
- Analytical Abilities: Familiarity with analytics tools to track and report on campaign performance. Proficient in monitoring and analysing campaign performance, with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
- Website Management: Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) for updating text, images, and other media.
- Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with internal and external teams to deliver successful campaigns.
- Client Communication: The ability to maintain a professional, timely and high-standard of communication with all clients.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage tasks for a wide range of clients and meet deadlines effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to support in all marketing deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, processes, and client needs, maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using digital marketing tools, including Hubspot, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and Wordpress.
