Job title: Immigration Solicitor
Salary: DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with industry experts in the market-leading firm;
  2. Be involved in a varied caseload coupled with a unique opportunity to grow the immigration work in a dedicated environment;
  3. Chance to build on experience and skills through a rare opportunity to have day-to-day involvement in a sought-after sector;
  4. Casework including personal and business immigration cases, with a particular focus on applications under the work routes of the Points Based System;
  5. Provide advice to clients on Home Office sponsorship rules and the use of the sponsor management system;
  6. Advise clients on settlement and British citizenship applications;
  7. Keep up to date on changes to Home Office policies/procedures;
  8. Provide updates to clients;
  9. Actively participate in business development, driving new firm initiatives.

Specific Role Requirements:

  1. NQ to 4 years' PQE (although we will consider outstanding candidates outside this range);
  2. Good experience working on a variety of visa/immigration cases and a good working knowledge of the Immigration Rules;
  3. Experience advising on sports and media-related matters is desirable but not essential.

  8. Ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to work flexibly as some evening and weekend work may be required;
  9. Excellent administrative and organisational skills;
  10. Work with honesty, integrity and be culturally sensitive;
  11. Eligible to work in the UK.
