TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely Secondary SEMH school in Lichfield supporting with their recruitment for a Behaviour Support Assistant. The setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.

The school is seeking out a passionate team player to take on the role. A successful Behaviour Support Assistant will be working with students aged 11-16 years with social emotional and mental health difficulties, to support their personal development to provide a broad and balanced curriculum at Key Stage 3 by offering a wide range of academic subjects and subjects to support social, emotional and behaviour needs.

The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
