Imaging Assistants (MRI)

Imaging Assistants (NOUS)

Department: Imaging / Whitehouse Park

Band 3, Full-time & Part-time: £24,625 - £25,674 per annum (pro rata if Part-time)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week across 7 days or Part-time hours available across 7 days, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

As an Imaging Assistant at MKUH, your role encompasses 4 keys areas:

  1. Prioritising patient care & transportation
  2. Managing housekeeping tasks including stock handling & equipment maintenance
  3. Handling administrative & clerical duties like scheduling appointments and monitoring patient attendance
  4. Investing in personal development, including skills like intravenous cannulation, induction & care certification with a drive for advancement.

  1. To assist Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, Assistant Practitioners and Clerical staff undertake a wide variety of tasks throughout the department, as part of the multidisciplinary team, to ensure service efficiency, whilst maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.
  2. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the range of examinations undertaken within the Imaging Department so that appropriate support and care can be given.
