&SONS is a growing men’s fashion brand creating authentic vintage-inspired clothing for the modern-day Pioneer. Our HQ is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire where we design, market and sell to our global audience. We attract a creative customer and therefore focus heavily on our visual content drawing from our own experience and backgrounds in the creative sector. We produce engaging content across digital and print and need enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious individuals to join the growing team. Alongside &SONS we also have our womenswear brand DAMSONS; The successful editor will create content for both brands across all of our marketing platforms. JOB OVERVIEW

The editor will be joining a growing team at &SONS. Working primarily with our Head of Content and Creative Director creating a range of lifestyle and product imagery for our emailer campaigns, social media and website. You will be supported and guided by our marketing team and will need to be able to manage your own workload and priorities. &SONS has demanding growth plans which will require hard work but in a relaxed and fun environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Colour grading and retouching our lifestyle photography. This will be a primary part of the role and therefore being confident and experienced in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is crucial.
• Supporting the delivery of our marketing through emailers, social and website content.
• File handling and organisation, managing large amounts of images across server locations.
• Working collaboratively with the current photographers and editors that make up the Content team.
• During photoshoots and filming assistance may be required in setting up lighting, sound and managing data backups.
• As a small business we rely on our team to be all-rounders and when needed your involvement in other departments such as product development would be appreciated.
• Video production skills would be beneficial, including experience shooting and editing your own footage.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient within colour grading, image manipulation practices, colour correction and photographic techniques.
• Strong comprehension and appreciation of what is needed to make an image work, whilst understanding a creative vision and being able to bring it to life.
• A portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to create imagery that aligns with our style and brand.
• Experienced working within the Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge.
• Familiarity with camera systems, lenses, lighting, sound and on-set practices.
• Highly organised and efficient, producing work to a high standard across multiple projects at any one time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Emphasis on experience over qualifications with a background within the photographic/film industry preferred.
• Confident working on an iMac.
