Job description

I am currently recruiting an ICT Project Manager for a tier one international General Contractor to be based across various large scale data centre projects in mainland Europe. This contractor is a market leader in the delivery of data centre and mission critical infrastructure with strong relationships in place with the sectors leading clients. In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of key telecommunications systems and strong organisational ability is key. You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises.

Salary is very much dependant on experience, but there is flexibility for high performers who have successfully delivered large commercial projects in the past. In terms of package, accommodation, flights, travel, subsistence allowance are included.

Duties:

1. Management of project QA along with QA/QC Managers
2. Chair progress meetings with client
3. Constant liaising with project planners to ensure smooth running of program.
4. Management of commercial aspect throughout along with the help of project commercial teams
5. Oversee subcontractors and track progress
6. Overall responsibility for delivery of structured cabling package
7. Attendance of weekly site meetings with senior management and clients
8. Conduct and issue weekly reports to all stakeholders based on project status, delays, design issues etc

Candidate Requirements:

1. 5+ years working in a similar role
2. Data centre experience desirable
3. Strong organisational and IT skills
4. Flexibility to travel - MUST HOLD EU PASSPORT
5. Strong technical knowledge of all telecommunication systems
