The Ocean Group have an exciting opportunity within their ICT Team for a Cyber Security Analyst.
The role is full time (37 hours per week) and is permanent with a salary of £35,000 per annum.

On occasion there will be a business need for employees to travel to St Austell and work from the head office for meetings, training and general day to day work needs.
The role will be supporting the Head of ICT and the ICT Business Solutions Manager to implement and maintain the Ocean Group's security framework; combining technical knowledge with a risk based approach to security to achieve the strategic goals of the business. In addition the position will conduct regular reviews of Ocean's current security position and procedure and be responsible for the delivery of security breach protocols, which includes the management of testing programmes and implementation in a real event.
The role will be part of an efficient ICT management function to develop a security vision/strategy and long term road map for Cyber Security and ICT operations.

It is essential you hold a Level 6 or equivalent IT/Computer Science qualification and are educated to GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
You will have excellent IT skills, including knowledge of MS Corporate Tenancy, computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware and security, application firewalls, host intrusion prevention and anti-virus.
You will have a strong understanding of the cyber security technologies and best practices/frameworks (Cyber Essentials Plus; ISO27001; NIST).
You will be organised and able to prioritise your workload, set work programmes, meet tight deadlines, budgets and use your own initiative. It is essential that you are able to analyse complex technical information to identify patterns and are self-motivated, exuding a welcoming persona.
