An established industry player is seeking an ICA Technician to join their team. In this role, you will perform vital maintenance on water production assets, ensuring operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, providing technical support and training while also managing contractors. About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for an instrumentation, control & automation (ICA) technician to work in our Latton or Newbury sites, depending on your location.
As the successful candidate, you will be working in multi-disciplinary teams alongside a range of operational teams such as systems, mechanical, and electrical technicians. You will be responsible for installing, modifying, and commissioning new plant equipment to relevant standards and for diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and plants. Proactively identifying and reporting works for enhancement and delivering cost-effective improvements to assets and systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location: Latton Cirencester or Speen - Newbury, depending on your location.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 15:36 pm plus standby & overtime opportunity increasing earning by potential £8,000-£10,000.
All PPE, tools, van and fuel card are provided.
