Role Title: IBM Software Licence Management
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Knutsford (3 Days Per week)
Rate: £350 - £400 - Umbrella only

Role purpose / summary

1. ILMT Maintenance/data accuracy (ongoing)
2. Extraction of ILMT Computers report /Operational servers (Service Now)
3. Identification/removal of ceased and AWS servers
4. Re-classifying instances if mis-reporting (incorrect component to product mappings)
5. Manual exclusions - Cold DR/Bundled products
6. Extraction of regular ILMT reports/audit snapshot to assess current compliance position
7. Support IASP Audit (Deloitte) - Twice yearly audit reporting to IBM: April to September - Products with PVU metrics. October to March - All products/ All metrics
8. Extraction/Provision of data/reports as required by Deloitte
9. ILMT audit snapshot/Hardware report/computers report/dashboard snapshot
10. Extract of all current Operational servers (Service Now)
11. VM (host/cluster) data from Compute team
12. Regular calls with Deloitte to discuss progress against actions/data requirements
13. Engagement with all SMEs/Product Owners to provide data/evidence requested by Deloitte for all non-PVU based products (including mainframe)
14. Internal review of Mainframe 'consumption' figures in agreement with Mainframe Team
15. Request for additional software data from SAM Governance Team for Computers not in ILMT.
16. Deloitte will provide server list based on their review against ILMT (hardware) data provided.
17. Follow up to provide additional data/evidence following review by Deloitte.
18. Validation/Follow up of discrepancies identified by Deloitte
19. Review/actioning of manual ILMT updates following audit
20. Informal internal PVU licence True-up - for early detection/remediation of any risk issues.
21. Assessment of risk impact of ineligible Technologies
22. Review/analysis of ILMT computers with Issue reports to identify/address issues (e.g., servers without software scans/VM manager data) with GTSM Tooling Team/Platform Team/App Teams as needed.
23. Monthly SCRT report tracking to ensure within entitlement.
