IAM Architect

Up to £85k + £10k car + 15% Annual Bonus

Basingstoke, Hampshire – Hybrid (2-3 days in p/w)

Middle has partnered exclusively with a key client to hire a strong Access Management (IAM) Architect. This Engineer will support the Enterprise Architect to plan, design, and implement all projects within Security.

In this role, you will have the independence to identify and implement new technologies, process improvements, or automation across the domain. You’ll have the opportunity to build the most intelligent, robust, and modern IAM platform that can automate, protect, and deliver.

This role offers clear progression into an Architectural role or the option to continue with the hands-on engineering approach.

The ideal Principal IAM Engineer will have:

• 3+ years of previous experience
• Experience managing end-to-end project management implementation
• Strong skills and experience in Entra ID/Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Experience in a Cloud environment – ideally Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of most of the Microsoft tech stack
• Ideally, experience using Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Understanding of frameworks and protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and SAML
• Experience in spotting and fixing internal flaws
• Experience with network security concepts
• Excellent communication skills; able to liaise with resources in separate teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
