About the Role:

We are seeking a Junior Hydrogeologist to join our construction client in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in hydrogeology, groundwater assessment, and environmental consultancy.

As part of our expert team, you will support a variety of projects, from water resource management to contaminated land investigations. If you're passionate about hydrogeology and eager to develop your skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct groundwater monitoring, sampling, and data analysis
2. Assist with hydrogeological risk assessments and groundwater modelling
3. Support environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and water resource evaluations
4. Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists on multidisciplinary projects
5. Prepare technical reports and contribute to client presentations
6. Undertake occasional site visits across the UK

What We're Looking For:

1. A degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (MSc preferred)
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Some experience with groundwater modelling software (e.g., MODFLOW) is desirable but not essential
4. Excellent communication and report-writing skills
5. A full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one)
